Excitation spectra of TOptical LEDs and absorption spectra of fluorescent dyes
The excitation spetra of the blue, white and red long lasting LED (dotted lines) cover very well the absorption spectra of the commonly used fluorescent dyes FAM, JOE/HEX/VIC, 6-ROX, TET, TAMRA, CY5 and Cy 5.5 (solid lines). In combination with the beam transfer by high perfomance optical fibers and the detection by the Channel Photo Multiplier (CPM) superb sensitivity is achieved.
