Two chamber workstation
The OV5 features two hybridisation chambers that can are regulated individually. Thus the OV5 provides maximum capacity at the footprint of a standard hybridisation oven. With the two rotors a maximum of 24 hybridisation bottles (10 or 15cm) can be incubated at the same time. Alternatively, the two chambers can be used with different temperatures.
Internal shaking platform
The lower hybridisation chamber of the OV5 provides an additional shaking platform. For some applications it is advantageous to incubate blots in a tray rather than in a hybridisation bottle. In this case the internal shaking platform of the OV5 is a convenient way to incubate at precise temperature with controlled horizontal agitation.
Advanced heating technology
Both chambers of the OV5 feature an advanced ventilation system that ensures even temperature distribution within the oven chamber. Temperature is precisely controlled in a range from 10°C above room temperature to a maximum of 85°C. A platinum sensor recognizes temperature deviations bigger than 0.1°C and directly triggers the heating system.
